According to popular Weibo leakster, @DCS, Oppo is working on a new smartphone in the K series. This device is the Oppo K9 Pro which will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. Furthermore, this device will also have a 120Hz high refresh rate. The report also shows that the Oppo K9 Pro will support 60W fast charging for the first time. This smartphone will use a 64MP main camera in a triple rear camera setup.
In terms of the RAM and storage, the Oppo K9 Pro has up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Although this device comes with flagship specs, the smartphone should have a high price-to-peformance ratio.
Oppo K9 Pro TENAA listing
This is not the first information regarding the Oppo K9 Pro. This device has already made its way to TENAA. The images on TENAA show the design of this smartphone. It appears to have a large rectangular camera set up on the back panel. This camera module encompasses almost the entire width of the device and about one-third of the phone’s height. Furthermore, the module is on the left side with three vertical camera sensors. The “09-K” branding is on the right side of the camera module. The right side also houses a power button, while the volume rocker keys are placed on the left side.
According to the listing, this device will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9. In addition to that, it features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device could ship with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and offer 128GB / 256GB of onboard storage capacity. In addition to the 64MP main camera, this device will also have an 8MP and 2MP camera on the rear. In front, there will be a 16MP snapper.
The device could come running on Android 11 OS with the company’s own ColorOS custom UI on top. Oppo could use a 4,400mAh battery with fast charging support to keep the entire system running for a longer period. The Oppo PEYM00 will go up for sale in three color options including Blue, Black, and Silver. According to the tipster, the K9 Pro will be rebranded Realme GT Neo. With regards to the price, there is no much information. However, NewsBytes suggests that the Oppo K9 Pro could retail for 1,999 yuan ($308), considering that it is the starting price of the K9 5G in China.
