Xiaomi is gearing to unveil the hotly-anticipated Xiaomi 11T and the Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphones at a launch event today, September 15. In addition to taking the wraps off the aforesaid handsets, the Chinese tech company will be announcing a myriad of other products at the event. Previously surfaced reports have already confirmed that the company will launch the Xiaomi 11T series. Over the weekend, the company’s official Twitter account teased a “Lite” device that could launch alongside other products at today’s event.
According to a GSM Arena report, the device could be Xiaomi 11 Lite NE (New Edition). The phone has been floating the rumor mill for quite some time now. Moreover, it probably has already passed through the TENAA benchmarking website earlier this month. The TENAA listing suggested that the phone will launch in China bearing the Xiaomi CC11 moniker. Likewise, the Xiaomi 11T and its Pro variant have made multiple appearances online in the form of leaks. Now, the company has officially confirmed its imminent launch.

A leak that surfaced online back in August suggests that the 11T will house a 3x tele macro camera, and a 6MP OmniVision OV64B lens along with a Sony IMX355 ultrawide sensor. The Pro model will support 120W speed charging via a type-C charger.
Xiaomi 11T Lite 5G NE Specifications (Expected)
The Chinese home electronics company has a reputation for offering budget-friendly products with sufficiently good specifications. The word on the street is that Xiaomi is also planning to launch a lite variant of the 11T series. This phone will be called Xiaomi 11T Lite 5G NE and will debut at today’s launch event. Furthermore, the handset is likely to feature a Snapdragon 778G chipset, rather than a more suitable 780G chipset. The phone will sport a 6.55 inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the Lite model could come with a 4250mAH battery that offers 33W charging support.

Last month, Xiaomi took the wraps off the Pad 5 lineup. However, the Pad 5 and the Pad5 Pro were made available in China only.
