Realme Pad to Go on Sale Today via Flipkart at 12PM, See Offers and Pricing


The first Android tablet from Realme, the Realme Pad is set to go on sale starting today. It is the company’s first try at a tablet, with the company launching the product earlier this month alongside the Realme 8i, 8s 5G and a couple of accessories.

This launch comes at a time when the Android tablet segment is populated by the likes of Lenovo, Samsung and older Huawei tablets. The Realme Pad intends to beat its rivals by offering better specifications for aggressive pricing.

Notable features of the device include a massive 10.4-inch display, quad speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, a rather large 7,100 mAh battery and the mid-range MediaTek Helio G80 SoC.

The Realme Pad retails in India for Rs 13,999 when it comes to the base variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. This variant comes in Wi-Fi-only specifications and will not be available today, since the company has said that it will be available at a later date.

The models available today are the 3GB+32GB variant with LTE+Wi-Fi, available for Rs 15,999 and the 4GB+64GB LTE+Wi-Fi variant retailing for Rs 17,999. The sale will start on Flipkart at 12PM today and the device is available in two hues, Real Grey and Real Gold.

Launch offers include up to Rs 2,000 off via HDFC Bank cards, while Flipkart Axis Bank cardholders can get unlimited cashback of 5% on the device.

What Does Realme’s First Tablet Offer?

In terms of specifications, the Realme Pad makes use of a 10.4-inch LCD TFT display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 and a peak brightness of 360 nits. It comes with the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The tablet weighs around 440 grams and is 6.9mm thick. The LTE variant of the tablet comes with a hybrid SIM slot. Content consumption will be a breeze since the tablet has quad-speakers. To draw power, the device relies on a 7,100 mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

The device boots Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top. Optics, wise there is an 8MP snapper to the rear and a second 8MP front shooter, with the rear shooter offering auto-focus capabilities. The device also has Dolby Atmos support.

Certain other features to take note of include dual mic, kids mode, smart connect and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Face unlock is the only security option since there is no fingerprint scanner.
