Oppo A55 has finally hit the store shelves in India, giving us a clearer idea about its specifications, pricing, and other details. The recently unveiled Oppo A54 successor boasts impressive features and sufficiently good specifications. The handset has been subject to multiple in the past that revealed its design. Even before its unveiling on October 1, some official-looking images of the Oppo A55 were making the rounds online.

These circulating images implied that the A55 will be similar to the 5G-ready model, with some significant differences. Now, the phone’s features and specifications have been officially revealed. The A55 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution. Furthermore, there’s a punch-hole cutout to house the front shooter. It has a powerful Helio G35 processor under the hood, and it ships with 6GB of RAM.

The A55 is available in two highly appealing color options including Rainbow Blue and Starry Black. The phone’s 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant will set you back INR 15,490. The slightly larger model that ships with 6GB of RAM and offers 128GB of onboard storage capacity retails for INR 17,490. You can head straight to Oppo India’s official website to pre-order the A55. As mentioned earlier, the A55 comes with a 6.5-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution (720 x 1,600 pixels). Moreover, the display delivers a refresh rate of 60Hz, brightness of up to 550nits, and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. It packs an Helio G35 processor under the hood, paired with up to 4GB of RAM. The phone offers 64GB of built-in storage capacity, which can be expanded via a microSD card.

Furthermore, the phone runs on Android 11 OS out of the box with ColorOS 11.1 atop. On the photography front, the A55 houses three rear-mounted cameras. This includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, as well as a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, the phone houses a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling.
