Cameras of iPhone 13 Pro were worse than Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in DxOMark tests
DxOMark, an organization that tests mobile devices and in particular their cameras, has tested Apple’s latest flagship. Despite the flattering reviews, the iPhone 13 Pro scored 137 points, which is 9 points more than the iPhone 12 Pro, but below the Huawei P50 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and even last year’s Huawei Mate 40 Pro +.
Although the iPhone 13 Pro is ranked fourth, it still has one of the best cameras on the market. Experts note a number of improvements over last year’s model. Color and contrast have been improved for flash portraits. In addition, the detail has increased noticeably, especially when shooting indoors. It looks like the larger pixels of the new sensor have allowed for more detail. However, as with the iPhone 12 Pro, there is noise in the photo. For photographic capabilities, the smartphone received 144 points.
iPhone 13 Pro scored 76 points for zoom. Despite the fact that according to DxOMark experts, it is not the best among all smartphones, it definitely became higher in quality than the iPhone 12 Pro. For video shooting, the device received 119 points, which makes it the leader in this indicator.
DxOMark also tested the iPhone 13 mini. The smartphone scored 130 points. The youngest Apple got 138 points for photography, 55 for zoom and 117 for video.
