Apple brought the new MacBook Pro into the Indian market recently. The newfangled laptop from Apple packs the latest M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets under the hood. Aside from revamping the hardware, Apple gave the new laptop a major design overhaul. The Cupertino-based tech giant added more ports, along with a notch at the top of the display.

Apple analyst and iOS developer Dylan took to Twitter to share more details about the upcoming laptop. Dylan has a good record in terms of Apple product-related leaks. So, the 2022 MacBook Air specifications and features he has revealed could prove to be true.
2022 Apple MacBook Air Specifications
In his tweet, Dylan suggests that Apple is gearing up to unveil its new MacBook Air in mid-2022. In other words, Apple could announce its new laptop during the WWDC 2022. Furthermore, it is worth noting that Apple usually hosts its developer event in June. There is a possibility that the company could launch the 2022 MacBook Air at the impending event. However, Apple could be unveiling only the entry-level MacBook at next year’s WWDC.

Furthermore, he notes that some of the 2022 MacBook Air features will be the same as the Pro model. For instance, the new laptop will retain the 1080p webcam, MagSafe charging, and a mini-LED display. Moreover, it is also said to feature a full-size keyboard with function keys just like the Pro model, according to a report from NotebookCheck.

On the downside, the Air model will not come with an HDMI port and an SD card slot. Moreover, it will not even have a fan under the hood. The leaker suggests that the company plans to keep its ProMotion 120Hz display tech limited to the Pro models. The 2022 MacBook Air will have bezels encompassing the display. This information coincides with claims made by another noted leaker Jon Prosser. Furthermore, the Air 2022 will be available in several color options like the iMac.
The 2022 MacBook Air could launch in Silver, Purple, Blue, Orange, Yellow, and a myriad of other color options.
