Oppo has just launched the Oppo Reno6 series in international markets. However, recent rumors suggest that the next-gen Oppo Reno7 series is already moving on to leave the wraps. It’s usual for Oppo to disclose the Reno series in China first, and we assume that the company will unveil the Oppo Reno7 in China until the end of this year just like it did with the Chinese Oppo Reno5 series last year. The new lineup should be composed of the Oppo Reno7, Reno7 Pro, and Reno7 Pro+. Of course, until now, everything is based on leaks and speculations. Anyway, the latest leak from LetsGoDigital reveals the possible design of the upcoming Oppo Reno7 Pro. At first glance, we can say that Oppo is sticking with the traditional for another generation.
Oppo Reno7 Pro specifications
Oppo is gearing up to introduce a new smartphone series in China later this year. The new images come from LetsGoDigital and are based on patent designs. Apparently, the Reno 7 Pro will stick with a flat display. This is a change in comparison to its predecessor that came with a curved panel. Anyway, the device will still come with thin bezels around the display. The patent images further reveal that there will be a tiny punch-hole cutout at the top left corner of the display. The handset will have flat top and bottom edges.
Moving around to the back, the handset comes with a triple-camera array inside the rectangular camera module. There is a Quad-LED flash module below the camera sensors. Furthermore, the left edge houses the volume keys, whereas the power button sits on the right edge. Oppo will house the SIM tray next to the USB Type-C port and speaker grille on the bottom edge.
As per previously leaked info, the handset will come with a 50 MP primary camera. That will be the very same Sony IMX766 sensor found on the OnePlus 9 series and Oppo Find X3 Pro. Other specs probably include a 2 x optical zoom and a 3 MP microscope camera. This setup is very similar to the Oppo Find X3 Pro, but that shouldn’t come as a surprise. Oppo is moving these specs to the mid-range segment as the next Find X smartphone will likely come with a more impressive setup in Q1 2022.
We expect the leaks to intensify in the upcoming weeks. After all, the device is rumored to hit the market in December.
