Google cancels Pixel 6 orders without explanation

Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro Charger

A number of features have made the Google Pixel 6 one of the most interesting devices of the moment. An unusual design, a new set of sensors in the camera, a proprietary processor, a significant increase in battery capacity and an adequate price are all factors that should please the consumer.

Therefore, it is logical that people rushed to order the Pixel 6. But to their disappointment, it seems that Google was not ready for such a stir and does not know what to do with such an outbreak of love from consumers. The company is reportedly canceling pre-orders for the Pixel 6 without giving any reason for the cancellation. Most frustratingly, some consumers don’t even get their money back.

Users are complaining about canceled orders on Twitter, Reddit, and the Google Fi support forum. The irony is that the company does not consider it necessary to return money to some consumers, but at the same time they received the Pixel Buds Series A headphones in the mail, which went as a gift to those who first ordered the Pixel 6.

Review Geek decided to personally verify whether the orders are actually being canceled. Their order has also been canceled. Google Support said there was a “deployment failure” and a “terms of sale issue.” Interestingly, pre-orders are canceled only through the company’s official store, third-party sellers and retailers do not have such problems with canceling orders as you can purchase Pixel 6 without delay.
