iQOO Neo 6 SE emerges on 3C certification with 66W fast-charging

iQOO has just released the iQOO Z5 5G in China and in India. However, a new report suggests that the brand is already moving on to bring a new smartphone. In fact, the iQOO Z5 Pro was expected to get a Pro variant in China. For now, the company is yet to confirm its existence, but we may see the rumored iQOO Z5 Pro comes with a different moniker. The latest leak from iQOO involves a smartphone carrying iQOO Neo 6 SE moniker. The device was listed on the 3C certification website. As usual, 3C gives us some details about the charging capabilities of the devices.

Unfortunately, 3C isn’t the most revealing of the certifications. It serves to confirm details regarding the charging tech and also usually confirms the moniker of upcoming smartphones. The iQOO will launch an iQOO Neo 6 SE very soon. According to the listing, the iQOO Neo 6 will pack 66 W fast-charging which is an awesome amount. Do note that the iQOO Neo 6 SE probably is a handset for the mid-range market.

So it’s great to see a flagship-grade fast-charging technology here. The battery size probably will be between 4,500 mAh and 5,000 mAh.

iQOO Neo 6 SE alleged specifications

Previously, a smartphone previously spotted at the IMEI databases with the model number V2157A. Now, we know that this model number belongs to the QOO Neo 6 SE. The IMEI listing does not confirm any other details of the upcoming iQOO Smartphone. However, a Weibo leakster already has some tidbits to share about the device. According to him, iQOO’s upcoming mid-range smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ soC. This platform was recently announced by Qualcomm. For those unaware, it bags a higher clock speed of 2.5 GHz. It’s an incremental upgrade over the vanilla Snapdragon 778G that has a 2.4 GHz clock speed.

The tipster further reveals the upcoming smartphone will come in three colorways. Unfortunately, the colors are still a mystery or now. Interestingly, the tipster states that the device was planned to launch as the iQOO Z5 Pro. However, iQOO is instead planning on launching the devices under the Neo 6 series now. For now, we’ll need to wait for a confirmation, and hopefully for more leaks. We can expect this device to hit the market before the end of the year by the way.
