According to ThePixel, the Redmi Note 11 global version will hit Vietnam in the first quarter of 2022. Furthermore, the report shows that the Redmi Note 11 global version is very different from the Chinese version. The global version will adopt a completely new design and there will be major changes in the specification.

The report also reveals that the Redmi Note 11 global version will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Recall that the Chinese version uses MediaTek Dinensity processors. Unfortunately, details about the processor are not available. According to Twitter leakster, Tipster Chun, Xiaomi’s stocks of Dimensity chips are low. Thus, he speculates that the Redmi Note 11 global version could use the new Snapdragon 778G Plus and Snapdragon 695.

We will look forward to the changes that Redmi will add to the global version. The Chinese version design is just perfect and looks good. It is hard to tell why the company feels the need to change this design. Furthermore, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ Chinese version supports 120W fast charging. We are not so sure that the global version will support up to 100W fast charging. The company will probably water down some of the specs of this device to ensure that it remains cheap. Considering shipping, customs, and other internal taxations, if the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 11 series launches globally, it will be more expensive.

According to ThePixel, there is no information on the launch date for this device for now. However, this “new” device will not be for the global market alone. This smartphone will also return to China, however, it will arrive with a different name. As of now, we can not ascertain the authenticity of this report. Furthermore, there is no official information from the company regarding the global version of the Note 11 series. Thus, it is best to take this information with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, we are keeping a tab on Redmi’s executives and will let you know if there is any information.
