Samsung mobile division has a new name

The new naming came into effect on December 10, and it will be in use in all official documents of the company. The press release said the renaming to Samsung MX was necessary to highlight the new direction the company will pursue in its mobile business, namely a greater focus on user experience, services and building a healthy ecosystem that goes beyond the accepted notion of good hardware.

“We are delighted to announce that our business will be renamed after decades of innovation and leadership in the mobile industry. We believe this name change will help us usher in a new era of mobile innovation, where we can create even more exciting experiences for Galaxy users”, said the head of MX.

Among other things, Samsung announced that it will participate in CES 2022 and its presentation will take place on January 4th. The company will bring the Galaxy S21 FE to Las Vegas, which comes out very late.
