Honor X30 Features

Much earlier, we heard that the Honor X30 will pioneer the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chip. As the name implies, it is a mid-range SoC based on a 6nm process. It also integrates the Adreno 619 GPU. The latter makes the virtual world come alive in brilliant color and smooth action. In comparison to the previous generation, it is up to 30% faster.

Other than that, the Snapdragon X51 5G built-in modem supports multiple frequencies and modes. Among them, we can mention Sub-6 GHz and mmWave, plus SA and NSA modes, TDD, FDD, and DSS. The Kryo 660 CPU inside provides a 15% improved performance over its predecessor.

Another interesting feature of the Honor X30 is the camera. Though it comes with a 48MP + 2MP + 2MP standard combination, thanks to the Qualcomm Spectra 346T Triple ISP, it performs quite well in low-light conditions.

At the moment, we have no information about the battery capacity. But prior to this, we have heard that it will support 66W fast charging.

Its launch date is set to be December 16. So we will get more information about its selling points in the coming next few days.

Honor’s Performance

For those who are unaware, Honor’s X series is a very popular line. The X line has about 90 million users worldwide. And now the company is ready to show a novelty within this series.

Generally talking, Honor’s independence was one of the best decisions the company has ever made. To begin with, it freed Honor’s hands and it was able to use American technology, both hardware, and software. In addition, it has inherited Huawei’s management culture and technologies. Lastly, Honor uses its and Huawei’s customer base. Combining all these, we can see that Honor would have a bright future.

According to Counterpoint Research, third-quarter shipment volumes ranked the vendor as the third most successful smartphone vendor in the country. Say, in the third quarter this year, it managed to sell 96% more smartphones than in the previous quarter. In effect, the company won a 15% share in the Chinese market.
