Lava Is Offering Its Lava Agni 5G Smartphone for Free if You Exchange Your Realme 8s

In 2021, Lava unveiled the Lava Agni 5G as the first 5G handset from the company in India, with the device touted as a value for money 5G handset for less than Rs 20,000.

The device was launched sporting MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 SoC, which supports 5G connectivity. Now, a couple of months after the launch, the company has an interesting offer for its customers in India.

Potential buyers who own Realme’s Realme 8s handset, which is a similarly priced handset from the Chinese giant can get the Lava Agni for free when they exchange their 8s for the Agni. This offer is valid till January 7, with customers needing to fill out details on the official site for this process.

The potential customers need to enter basic details such as their name, contact number, address and more during the registration period, after which Lava’s Agni Mitra, which is an employee from the brand will contact them to schedule the exchange.

Once this is verified, the customer will ger the Lava Agni 5G free of charge along with an invoice. This is a rather interesting deal that also takes a shot at Realme, with a deal like this not having been seen in the near past.

What Does the Device Have to Offer in Terms of Specifications?

Under the hood, the Lava Agni 5G hosts the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. This 5G processor is accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. But the latter supports a microSD card expansion.

Also, the device boasts of a 5000mAh battery, which supports 30W fast charging. At the bottom, we can find a USB Type-C port, which ensures faster charging and data transmission.

Interestingly, the company also retained the 3.5mm headphone jack. On the rear, we have a quad-camera module, which is inside a rectangular module. The system consists of a 64MP primary camera lens, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro shooting.

The 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen adopts a hole-punch design. The bangs area houses a 16MP front camera. Also, its screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate.

The screen ratio exceeds 91.7%. Because of the LCD screen material, the fingerprint sensor is placed on the side. But it also supports AI Face Unlock. In terms of connectivity, the Lava Agni 5G supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc.
