Motorola really needs interesting and competitive smartphones, because its position in the market is not very strong. Weak products, high prices, and focus on old models – all this has long been a weight that dragged the company to the bottom. Recently, a number of curious devices have appeared, but the execution is lame.
Motorola is preparing five new products and one with an under-screen camera
What products does Motorola have planned for itself in 2022 Authoritative and well-known insider Evan Blass is ready to share information about new products. In particular, he showed high-quality renderings of smartphones and revealed a number of details. There will be at least five new products, and they have received the code names Hawaii +, Dubai, Rogue, Rhode and Austin. All of them will offer a similar design with slight differences in the design of the main camera unit and the thickness of the frames around the perimeter of the display.
The first of these smartphones will offer an OLED display with a “round” for the selfie camera, as well as a triple rear camera, where the main sensor will be 50 megapixels. Presumably, it will be a device of the middle class. But Dubai and Rogue will gravitate towards the flagships. The first of them will receive the thinnest frames, a triple camera unit with a 50-megapixel main module and a front camera embedded in the screen. But Rogue will get almost everything too, but it will stand out with a sub-screen selfie camera.
Visually, Motorola Rhode will be similar to Dubai, except that the camera platform received minor and subtle differences in design. Judging by the design, Motorola Austin will be the most affordable smartphone of all five new products. Budget can be traced in the design, first of all, the front panel, where they installed a screen with impressive frames and a chin.
The company’s upcoming smartphones
There have been rumors for some time that Motorola is planning to release the Edge X30 flagship smartphone outside of China called the Edge 30 Pro. It was also reported that the presentation will take place before the end of the month; and now Motorola itself has confirmed this.
The message, which was published on the company’s official Twitter page; says that the company will release a new phone under the Edge brand on February 24th.
In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display; with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, two 50-megapixel main cameras and a 60-megapixel selfie camera.
The 5000mAh battery supports 68W fast charging, while its predecessor, the Moto Edge 20 Pro, only supports 30W charging.
There are reports that in the global version of the smartphone, the fingerprint scanner will move under the screen; and the Moto logo will move to the corner.
