Realme Narzo 50A Prime India launch

The much-awaited Realme Narzo 50A Prime smartphone could launch in India without a charger in the box, the brand has revealed. Realme is prepping to launch the Narzo 50A Prime in India in the coming days. It has already gone official in Indonesia.

The smartphone recently made its appearance on the Realme India website, hinting at its imminent arrival in the country. Regrettably, it will come without a bundled charger. In its latest community post, the brand corroborated past leaks about the Narzo 50A Prime smartphone’s imminent India launch. On the downside, it confirmed that the handset’s retail box package will not have the charging brick. Notably, the Narzo 50A Prime is the first Realme phone to come without a charger in the box.

Just like Samsung and Apple, Realme attributes its decision to not include a charging brick in the box to reducing carbon emissions, as per a report by 91mobiles. According to the company, there’s no dearth of 10W chargers, but people do not use them. Moreover, the company aims at achieving a sustainable environment with this move. In a statement, the company noted that it is trying to achieve Double Zero targets such as net-zero carbon emissions in the next three years.
