Oppo A55s released: System promises smooth operation for 30 months


Today, the new member of the Oppo A series, the Oppo A55s, was officially released. The new smartphone is currently available on the Oppo official website and cooperative e-commerce platforms. It offers two configurations of 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. These smartphones cost 1099 yuan ($173) and 1199 yuan ($188) respectively.Ā As one of the highlights of the phone, theĀ Oppo A55s comes with the ColorOS 11 operating system. The official claims that this system can work smoothly and stress-free for 30 months. This smartphone is also pretty decent for gaming.

According to reports, with the blessing of ColorOS 11, the Oppo A55s system resource utilization has increased by 45%. The application startup efficiency has also increased by 20%. Furthermore, the response speed increases by 32% while the frame rate stability increases by 17%. In terms of display, Oppo A55s comes with a 6.5-inch waterdrop eye protection screen. It also boasts of an AI intelligent backlight system and has 4096-level flagship-level dimming accuracy.

In terms of core configuration, theĀ new phone comes with MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor. This device supports dual-card dual-standby integrated dual-mode 5G. It also adapts to the mainstream frequency bands of the three major operators. Furthermore, this mid-range smartphone supports up to 1TB memory expansion card, and has RAM + storage expansion technology. This allows 6GB RAM to bring an experience equivalent to 8GB RAM. Of course, this will improve the overall fluency and smoothness of this device.
