Redmi K50 Ultra

The battery capacity will sit between 4,800 mAh and 5,000 mAh. Therefore, we can expect Xiaomi to equip the device with its 120 W fast-charging technology. It’s already present on a bunch of Mi and Redmi smartphones. An Ultra flagship is known to offer the best a brand can offer, therefore, we’re really expecting it to come with 120 W charging. Hopefully, the 5000 mAh battery is the one coming with the handset. After all, there is still a big limitation in these crazy fast-charging rates. Most of the phones with 100W+ charging are coming with smaller batteries. The Realme GT Neo 3, for example, comes with 150 W charging and a 4,500 mAh battery, but there is a variant with a 5,000 mAh battery and 80 W charging.

The Redmi K50 Ultra will likely be exclusive to the Chinese market. Even the Xiaomi 12 Ultra might be. However, we can eventually see this package of specs reaching global markets under POCO branding. The Redmi K50 Gaming, for example, is available across global markets as POCO F4 GT. The brand will soon introduce a POCO F4, and the Redmi K50 Ultra may also appear as POCO F4 Ultra. The recently released Redmi Note 11T series, on the other hand, will get Redmi K50i rebranding in India.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will bring a 10 percent power increase, but the major highlight is on the 30% percent battery life increase.
