While these devices get most of the spotlight, the company also presents mid-range phones from time to time. Today, the company is preparing to expand its portfolio of budget handsets with the Vivo Y77 5G. The device brings the usual combination of mid-range specifications with a huge battery keeping the lights on. Without further ado, let’s see what this handset has in tow. The company already launched the Vivo Y75 and the Y72. Now, the Y70 series is getting a new contender.

Vivo Y77 specifications

The new Vivo Y77 will use the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. This chipset is basically the successor for the Dimensity 700 which is still around on a lot of budget smartphones. The company is being very generous in terms of storage and RAM. Therefore, the phone comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of Internal Storage. You also get the virtual RAM feature with up to 4 GB of expansion, and a micro SD card slot for further storage expansion. In terms of software, the device runs Funtouch OS 12 with Android 12 as the underlying version, thankfully.

Vivo Y77 5G

The specifications come around a 6.58-inch LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,408 x 1,080 pixels. Unfortunately, the panel refreshes at the outdated 60 Hz. The device has a waterdrop notch cutout for the 16 MP selfie shooter with support for face unlocking. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Moving around to the back, the device has a single 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP macro shooter. The device is 8.25 thick and weighs 194 grams. It draws its powers from a huge 5,000 mAh battery with basic 18 W charging.

Vivo Y77 5G

Vivo confirmed the Vivo Y77 5G will launch on July 7 in China. The phone price may be around CNY 1,300 ~ $195. It will sell in Glowing Galaxy and Starlight Black colors.
