In comparison to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the sensor area is 172% larger, the light sensitivity is 76% higher, the camera speed is 32.5% higher, and the startup time is 11% faster. The Sony IMX989 sensor was jointly created by Xiaomi and Sony at a development cost of $15 million.
