For some reasons beyond our knowledge, Samsung has decided to reshuffle things in their smart watch business. They decided to ditch the classic edition of the Galaxy watch and go for a Pro Model rather. What this means is that, Samsung will launch a Galaxy watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro only. Leaving behind the Classic edition. As at now, we are all familiar with the looks of the upcoming Smart Watch. Thanks to many rendered and leaked images trending online.
According to a leaked promo image posted by popular leakster SnoopyTech recently, you can see two beautiful Samsung smart watches being displayed. One of the images look like the basic model. That is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 docking on a wireless charger. The other two shows the Galaxy Watch 5 worn by a model on one end while the other Watch 5 basic model displays the sleep Tracking feature.
The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro May Lack The Rotating Bezel
In the leaked promo images shared by the leakster, we were only able to get just one image of the supposed Watch 5 Pro. Due to the large battery size that is going to power the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, it looked a bit bulky in the leaked promo image. As confirmed by a Korean Safety Certification, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is supposed to come with a battery pack of 572mAh. If this is true, then we expect the Watch 5 Pro to be a bit chunky.

Another useful feature that will be buried with the Classic Edition will be the popular rotating bezel. This feature has been one of the main selling points of the Galaxy Watches since its inception. Now Samsung is tryin to play a game of gamble by ditching the feature completely. This is because the Pro model will not have the rotating bezel this time around.
More expected Specs Of The Galaxy Watch 5 / 5 Pro
The basic Watch 5 model we be coming in 40mm size and 44mm while the Pro model is coming in only 45mm size. Both smart watches will run on the latest Wear OS 3.5 which will look even better with the latest One UI Watch interface. Samsung will also target the corporate market with Black and graphite leather straps for the Pro model. The basic model will however target the youthful and trendy world with more color options. Such colors may be Bora Purple, Graphite, Grey, Light Blue, Pink Gold, and White.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event is just some few days away. So all these specs and details will soon see the light of days. We wait for August 10 for the much awaited major event by Samsung.
