Xiaomi MIUI 13.1 features and eligible devices have been revealed

Everyone was hoping for Xiaomi to release MIUI 13.5 this year, but the company decided to put all of its attention into developing MIUI 14. In addition, instead of a large “interim” upgrade, MIUI 13.1 was released. So, what smartphone models will get it? MIUI 13.1 will be available for a bunch of Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices.

We should note that Xiaomi 12 smartphones have already got MIUI 13.1 (at least in China). Also, it is included out of the box with the most recent Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 and Mi Pad 5 Pro 12.4. (based on Android 12) and in the future, users will get a new MIUI 13.1 update based on Android 13 this time. However, MIUI 13.1 based on Android 12 will be made available for a lot more gadgets. So, the fact that MIUI 13.1 is built on the latest Android version is its most notable feature. While Google devices have yet to receive the stable Android 13 upgrade, the Xiaomi 12 series in China has begun receiving the MIUI 13.1 based on Android 13 beta version update. Also, MIUI 13.1 for some smartphones was based on Android 12.

There is insufficient information on the new update, and because we do not have a Xiaomi 12 device, we cannot declare with certainty what the upgrade contains. However, it appears that the popular Android 13 features are available.
