iQOO Neo 7 5G Will Take Mid-range Category Bar Higher Once Again

iQOO Neo 7

Much earlier this year, VIVO’s sub-brand released the Neo 6 5G in India. It was an upper mid-range smartphone at Rs 30,000 ($367). But such models do not remain without a predecessor for a long time. We mean the company has been working on a follow-up model, and soon, the iQOO Neo 7 5G will appear on the shelves.

Though there is no official information concerning its release date, we know that it’s around the corner. Also, from well-known Weibo leakers, we have already managed to learn about its key features.

iQOO Neo 7 5G Features

Today, one of them said that the iQOO Neo 7 5G had been listed on the 3C website before its launch. From there, we learned that the phone would support 120W fast charging. This is a significant upgrade over the Neo 6 5G’s 80W fast charging. What’s more interesting, there are many top-end models with an output power of less than 50W. But iQOO and the likes bring this technology to larger masses.

Another selling point of the device will be the Dimensity 9000+ SoC. This chip is the direct rival of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Just imagine what a performance it’s capable of providing.

Third, the iQOO Neo 7 5G will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support.

On the back, our protagonist will host a 50MP main camera. It will likely be the same Sony IMX766V sensor as the iQOO 8 Pro Chinese variant. The main sensor will also be paired with a 13MP ultrawide lens and a 12MP portrait-telephoto lens.

For the time being, this is all we know about the forthcoming iQOO mid-ranger. Even so, it turns out iQOO will once again update the standard for the mid-range category. At the same time, we think that the phone won’t cost an arm and a leg.
