iQOO Neo 7 SE launches on December with Dimensity 8200

iQOO Neo 7 SE

iQOO is preparing for the launch of the iQOO 11 series on December 2. We don’t know if the phone will get available straight after the event in Malaysia. But we know that most of its specs will leave the wraps during the event thanks to an iQOO 11 5G Experience. A new report confirms that the iQOO Neo 7 SE will also be presented on the same date. The phone will arrive as the first phone with the Dimensity 8200 SoC from MediaTek.

iQOO Neo 7 SE Dimensity 8200 and leaked specs

According to the leaks, the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 will be an incremental upgrade over the Dimensity 8100. It has the same 5nm manufacturing and the same cores, but the configuration is different. There is a 1 x ARM Cortex-A78 core at 3.1 GHz, 3 x ARM Cortex-A78 at up to 3 GHz, and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz.  We expect a slight bump in terms of performance. However, we’re curious to see if the energy efficiency will be good when all performance costs exceed the 3 GHz barrier. The iQOO Neo 7 SE will give us the answer.

Gizchina News of the week

We will have to wait and see what the iQOO Neo 7 SE will bring to the market. We expect iQOO to begin a teaser campaign ahead of the event in the next few days. Thanks to the leaks, we already know a few specs of the phone. For example, it packs a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel likely has a centered punch-hole for the selfie snapper. So far the details about the camera are unclear, but we expect a modest take with a 50 MP primary camera and not much else. The iQOO Neo 7 SE will draw its power from a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. In terms of software, the phone certainly has Android 13 OS with FuntouchOS 13.

iQOO also has the iQOO 11 5G and the iQOO 11 Pro 5G to reveal, and we expect the peak of the hype campaign to start next week. The two flagships will land in Malaysia, but the iQOO Neo 7 SE is coming to China first.
