The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will launch in China and India soon. Key features of the upcoming TWS earbuds aren’t a mystery.
OnePlus is prepping to unveil a new flagship smartphone dubbed the OnePlus 11. The handset will reportedly launch in China on January 4.
Also, the Chinese consumer electronics giant will launch the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 on the same day. In other words, the much-awaited Buds Pro successor will break cover on January 4.
In line with this, the company has shared a few images of the Buds Pro 2 before launch. Moreover, OnePlus has revealed some key features of the upcoming TWS earbuds.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Features & Expected Price
To recap, the OnePlus Buds Pro was launched back in 2020. So, the 2nd gen TWS was expected to launch in 2021. However, the 2nd gen premium TWS will go official in early 2023 in China.
In the meantime, the Buds Pro 2 has been subject to a lot of leaks. Reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer revealed the earbuds’ specifications in October.

The report indicated that the TWS earbuds will get a new green color option. OnePlus recently confirmed the new earbuds will support up to 48dB ANC.
Notably, the original Buds Pro offers 40dB of ANC. So, it is safe to assume that the Buds Pro 2 will deliver improved noise cancellation than its predecessor.
Moreover, the upcoming buds will come with Hi-Res audio support. The audio product will be capable of 4000Hz ultra-wideband noise reduction.
The noise cancellation will be able to reduce up to 99.6 effective noise. Also, the frequency response range of the TWS will be 10Hz~40KHz.
The official images confirm the Buds Pro 2 will be available in Black and Green colorways. Moreover, the earbuds will have DYNAUDIO branding like previously launched Oppo earbuds.
The OnePlus Buds Pro is currently available for purchase for INR 8,990 via the OnePlus India website. However, its original asking price is INR 11,990. So, the Buds Pro 2 might carry a slightly steeper price tag of around INR 12,000.
