Samsung Galaxy S23 Vs Galaxy S23+ Vs Galaxy S23 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
The latest Galaxy S23 models from Samsung have been announced. At the Unpacked event on Wednesday night, the company officially reveals the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. In addition to a slightly different design, there are better cameras compared to last year’s models, and a new SoC promises more performance. Let us now take a look at the first impressions that these models give.

Design and Displays

In terms of design, there is not much change. But if you look closely, you can see a difference relative to the Galaxy S22. The camera module on the back is now less conspicuous, and the rounded corners make the smartphone easy to hold despite its size. As expected, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are very similar. There is a difference in size because while the S23 has a 6.1-inch display, the S23+ model has a 6.6-inch display. In both cases, the resolution is 2340 x 1080 pixels, and the frame rate increases dynamically up to 120 Hz. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is even larger at 6.8 inches and has a higher resolution of 3088 x 1440 pixels.

New Snapdragon chip, better cameras

All three mobile phones come with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. However, this chip is customized by Samsung to clock higher than the standard model. While the Galaxy S23 and S23+ have 8GB of RAM, the Ultra model has up to 12GB of RAM. The storage option of all the models varies between 128GB and 1TB. In the camera department, the Galaxy S23 and S23+ offer a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle and a 10MP telephoto zoom with triple optical magnification. The S23 Ultra has a whopping 200MP wide-angle sensor. The other cameras of the small models are also available here. However, there is an additional telephoto zoom with 10x magnification. The Ultra model is way different from the standard and Plus models.
