Realme GT3 coming this month with 240W charging

Realme GT3

After many rumors and speculation, Realme finally took the wraps off its Realme GT Neo 5. As expected, the smartphone comes in two variants. One has the company’s previous cutting-edge charging – 150W, while the other brings the latest development – 240W charging. With that, Realme now raised the bar and is the brand with the world’s fastest-charging smartphone. Unlike Xiaomi which has only one device with its fastest charging standard, Realme is ready to deploy it on one more device. The company teased the launch of the Realme GT3 flagship with 240W fast charging.

Realme GT3 specifications

I have to confess that the lack of news regarding the Realme GT3 series was making me wonder about Realme’s plans. Now, the company has just confirmed that the GT series will be back soon with a new generation. More than that, it will introduce the fastest-charging flagship of the market. For a quick comparison, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has up to 120W charging, and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has just 45W fast charging. The Realme GT3 will sit comfortably as the world’s fastest-charging flagship.

Gizchina News of the week

Apparently, the Realme GT Neo 5 variant with 240W charging won’t escape the Chinese market. So, for global customers, the Realme GT3 will be the only chance to experiment the 240W charging. At least for now. One possibility is that Realme will simply rebrand the GT Neo 5 to Realme GT3 and will sell it overseas. Meanwhile, the 150W charging variant of the Neo5 could be launched overseas.

Realme GT3

In terms of specs, the Realme GT Neo5 could easily pass as a Realme GT3. Last year, Realme downgraded the vanilla to make the Realme GT2 Pro look better. The vanilla brought the Snapdragon 888, while the Pro had the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen1. Following the same logic, the GT3 could easily come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Then, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 would be left for a possible Realme GT3 Pro.

For now, we’ll have to wait for a confirmation, but we expect the company to keep teasing the phone in the coming days.
