One UI 6.0 update won’t be available for these Samsung smartphones

Samsung has recently announced a significant change in its firmware support policy. The company has increased the firmware support period for some of its devices from two to three years, and it has gone a step further and committed to supporting certain devices with four major operating systems (OS) upgrades.

Samsung’s flagship S21 series (including the S21 FE) and all subsequent S-series flagships are eligible for four OS upgrades. This also applies to the Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A73, and later models. This is great news for Samsung users who were concerned about their devices becoming obsolete too soon.

Popular Samsung smartphones will not get One UI 6.0 based on Android 14

If your device runs an operating system that is older than Android 13 and is not on the list of eligible devices, it will not receive the Android 14 upgrade either.
