In spite of the competition, Apple manages to make some impact. The new report reveals that the iPhone 13 is mainly responsible for Apple’s good sales in China.
The iPhone 13 will be the most popular mobile phone in China in 2022. This alone increased its market share by 6.6%, up from 2.3% in 2021. The iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro, rank second and third with 2.2% and 1.9% of the market share, respectively. Also, this is the first mention of Apple’s iPhone Pro model on China’s top 10 list. In addition to taking up the top three spots on the best-selling mobile phones list, Apple’s iPhone also accounts for more than 10% of all deals.
Honor has four spots in the rest of the top 10, Vivo has two, and OPPO has one. All of the top ten products, with the exception of the iPhone series, are under $500. This shows that despite its high price, Apple still stays strong. From a stable 22% share in 2022, Counterpoint predicts that the top 10 models’ sales share will continue to fall in 2023.
