The market for mobile phones with foldable screens currently only has Samsung as a competitor. There aren’t many rivals in the clamshell folding screen market save Huawei and Moto. Recently, information about Samsung’s next Galaxy Z Flip5 product surfaced. According to the most recent renders, the new device has a larger screen than the previous version and a unique shape. It extends as far beyond the image module region as it covers so much space. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will have a 3.3-inch to a 3.4-inch secondary screen, while the present Flip4 only has a 1.9-inch secondary screen, according to DSCC analyst Ross Young.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5’s internal screen will also be updated, and a new hinge design will further hide the display crease. Other features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 include twin back cameras that may be utilized for selfies or as a rear camera. The CPU is likely to be a specially designed Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Samsung Galaxy chip. Also, the main frame of the fuselage features a straight-edge design.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 may have more functions
Young specifically mentions a cover display with a full 3-inch diagonal that would alter this device’s look. Samsung may make a lot more features available via the external display as opposed to merely fewer tasks. This is so that there will be more room for them.
The second display has a diagonal size of 1.9 inches on the outside of the casing. It has already increased dramatically with the current Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. The panel on the Galaxy Flip 5 is said to be three inches in size, which is a huge increase. But, it’s not obvious how Samsung intends to set up the display in relation to the main cameras. It is currently far too early to draw any firm conclusions about the Galaxy Z Flip5’s design.
