Xiaomi Band 8

A few days ago, Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi, officially released the Xiaomi Band 8, its new generation smart band. This device is selling for 239 yuan and an NFC version has an initial sale price of 279 yuan. The Xiaomi Band 8 comes with a large 1.62-inch screen that supports a 60Hz refresh rate, 326PPI, and 600nit brightness. The display of this smart band is getting the attention of the industry. Interestingly, the display is from a Chinese company, Tianma. According to the company, the display has a 25% increase in viewing area compared to a rectangular display. This is easily noticeable when you strap this device around your wrist. This is not the first time that Tianma has produced a display for Xiaomi. Tianma is also responsible for the 2.8K, 144Hz flagship ultra-high-definition LTPS display on the Xiaomi Pad 6 series.
