Most smartphone manufacturers have their own events that they hold every year. The companies usually hold these events to launch some of the biggest flagship devices for the year. A company like Apple usually holds its event in September each year while Samsung holds its event a month earlier. In actual fact, Samsung usually holds two events each year, in February and the second event in August. As expected, the second Samsung Galaxy unpacked event is supposed to hold in August this year. However, a new report suggests a little twist of event. It looks like the South Korean tech company will rather shift the second event a step closer than usual.
Last year’s second Unpacked event was held on the 10th of August where Samsung launched some flagship products. The company launched the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and its clamshell counterpart, the Z Flip 4. The company also launched some wearable products like the Galaxy Watch 5 Series and the Galaxy Buds 2.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked May Hold in July This Year 
For this year’s big event, a new report from Sammobile has it that Samsung may rather hold the event in July, rather than the usual month of August. The report has categorically stated that Samsung may choose to hold the event between July 25 to July 27. If Samsung officially confirms this date, it will mean that the Unpacked event will hold two weeks earlier than usual. There is no tangible reason behind the change in date yet. But this only shows that Samsung cannot wait that long to show the world what it has been working on.
Speaking of what to expect, everything looks quite obvious if you are to look back at the previous events. Rumors have it that Samsung may launch the next Foldables which are the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Z Flip 5. It is worth noting that we may also see a new wearable which should be the Galaxy Watch 6.

The Galaxy Fold 5 at The Unpacked Event 
This year, we expect the announcement of a new Samsung Foldable device. Samsung will definitely introduce some new updates in this year’s foldables. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will come with a new hinge and a lighter weight. Even though it will look similar to the Fold 4, the Z Fold 5 may also be a bit flatter in thickness. Other areas that may see some notable upgrades include camera and of course, processor. Some reports also say the new foldables from Samsung will feature the latest One UI, which is quite obvious.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5
For the Galaxy Z Flip 5, we have not yet made any notable contact with rumors regarding its specs. However, there is one rumor regarding the external display. It is rumored that the device will spot a larger external display than its predecessor. Other rumor has it that there will be a second external display. This display will show date and time as well as certain icons.
Also, the Galaxy Watch 6 may launch with a larger display than the Watch 5 and a faster processor. Apart from these two upgrades, we are yet to uncover other features that the new Galaxy Watch has to offer.
