Google said that it has launched a new API in the Chrome 115 browser to facilitate
developers to place ads through real - time traffic. The company believes that this will improve the ad ecology. Google admits that there is a risk of abuse of the new API. It also claims that there is no way to restrict it through technical means at this stage.
A Chrome developer commented on GitHub: "We have added a requirement in Chrome that
developers need to register to call these APIs and require a commitment not to abuse these APIs. There is currently no technical way to solve these problems, but now This approach helps to solve this problem".
