Red Magic Cyberbuds Dao TWS Hit Global Markets with ANC


Nubia’s Red Magic brand is well known for its gaming smartphones like the recently released Red Magic 8S series. However, the company has been investing more in different categories. The brand launched its first TWS earbuds in 2020 and also made its entrance into gaming monitors and various peripherals. Red Magic is slowly evolving its portfolio, and today is adding a new product to its TWS range. The company presented today the new Red Magic Cyberbuds Dao TWS for the international markets. These aren’t merely true wireless earbuds, they are gaming-focused and keep Red Magic’s essence as a gaming brand.

Cyberbuds Dao TWS – Advanced Audio, Gaming Features, and Stylish Look

The Cyberbuds Dao TWS are hitting international markets today with the latest Qualcomm Bluetooth tech, long battery life, and good gaming devices, they bring RGB light effects. The new TWS earbuds come with a Qualcomm S5 chip for sound over Bluetooth. It supports lossless sound and high-res music. It also brings Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) audio, adaptive ANC (Active Noise Cancelling), and top-notch connectivity. The Cyberbuds also offer 28 ms low latency in gaming mode. However, the feature is available only for certain phones, like the Red Magic 8S Pro. So don’t expect to get the max of these earbuds without a Red Magic gaming phone.

Red Magic knows how gamers love RGB and it gives the users the possibility to adjust the light effects. With the app Goper, from Play Store, it’s possible to adjust the RGB Led effects. The app also offers more, as you can manage functions such as the codec format, and audio equalizer modes from there. The Cyberbuds Dao TWS earbuds also support Android’s Fast Pair pop-up window pairing.

The Red Magic gaming buds come with an 11 mm composite biological diaphragm and ANC up to 48 dB. There are also multiple modes for ANC, including adaptive and manual reduction modes. The buds can also be connected over a USB-A/USB-C wire to minimize latency. That’s quite an interesting approach. After all, if you wish to use them on the PC or don’t need the wireless aspect, you can use a wire to get the best possible performance without delays. Each bud features a 35 mAh battery, and the case has 350 mAh extra capacity. As per Red Magic, the buds can take up to 7 hours on a single charge, and the charging time of the case is nearly 50 minutes, with 40 minutes more with the buds inside.

The Cyberbuds Dao TWS also packs a unique design with a semi-transparent look and a stainless steel middle frame. The pattern is laser-engraved for an extra layer of sophistication. The side-sliding cover design is also there for the design appeal.

Pricing and Availability

The Red Magic Cyberbuds Dao TWS will go on sale on August 2 in Europe, the UK, and Singapore for €229/£229/S$309. Mexico will also get the earbuds in September for MXN 4,999. These are great earbuds with many features and rich sound quality. If you own a Red Magic 8S Pro, then this should be one of the best audio companions for the gaming smartphone.
