Honor 90: The Game-Changing Smartphone by HTech Hits the Indian Market

The much-awaited Honor 90 was unveiled on Thursday by Adhav Sheth-led HTech, marking the company’s return entry into the Indian smartphone market. Honor smartphones are now available in India thanks to HTech’s strategic partnership with PSAV Global.

The price of the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model of the Honor 90 is ₹37,999 ($458), while the price of the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model is ₹39,999 ($482). However, customers who buy early can do so for just £27,999 and £29,999 ($337 and $361), respectively.

This mid-range smartphone runs Android 13 under the MagicOS 7.1 skin. It has an impressive 1600 nits peak brightness and a 6.7-inch Full HD+ curved OLED display. The refresh rate is 120Hz. It is powered by an Adreno 644 GPU and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition processor. Memory options include 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage.

A 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor make up the Honor 90’s triple camera arrangement in the camera department. There is a 50MP front camera with great resolution for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone sports a powerful 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. It also supports 5G SA/NSA connectivity and has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

A 5,000mAh battery with 66W wired SuperCharge technology and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC power the Honor 90 5G. It has three storage options and three pretty color choices. The 8GB + 256GB model costs £37,999 and the 12GB + 512GB model costs at £39,999. The phone is available to early adopters for Rs 27,999 and Rs 29,999 respectively.

The phone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an amazing 1600 nits of peak brightness. It also uses UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. The 5G variant uses Magic OS 7.1 based on Android 13.

A 12MP ultra wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, an LED flash, and a 200MP main sensor with support for the Honor Image Engine make up the camera configuration. For selfies, there is a 50MP front camera.

It also features USB Type-C connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS and support for 5G.
