Huawei Smart Glasses 2 released


In addition to the Huawei Smart Screen V5 Pro and Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2, the company also released the Huawei Smart Glasses 2 at the autumn new product launch event. This glass comes with thinner speaker temples and two new titanium hollow and gold wire styles for the first time. It also has a dual-diaphragm co-directional surge unit.

In terms of appearance, Huawei Smart Glasses 2 has added two new styles: titanium hollow and gold wire. The former uses a beta titanium frame that weighs only 4.7g. It also has a streamlined, floating design. The latter adopts 18K gold plating, a fashionable and versatile thin frame. The rimless, aviator and square semi-rim styles are also available for this eyewear.

The temples of Huawei Smart Glasses 2 are slimmer. The widest part of the temple has been reduced by 20% to just 9.7mm. The thinnest part of the temple was reduced by 28% to just 8.3mm. Huawei Smart Glasses 2 also features the industry’s first co-directional dual-diaphragm Pengpai unit. This increases speaker amplitude by 40% and media playback volume by 30%.

This device also supports seamless multi-device connectivity. It easily switches audio between HarmonyOS-enabled mobile phones and tablets. However, it is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows devices, and also supports Cervical Spine Health 2.0.

In terms of battery life, this device can provide 11 hours of listening time and 9 hours of talk time. It can be fully charged in 50 minutes. This device gives 3 hours of listening time in 10 minutes of charging. It also supports IP54 dustproof and waterproof.

Price and availability

Huawei Smart Glasses 2 will be available for pre-sale on 25 September at 18:08. However, this device will go on sale on 30 September at 10:08. The prices of the different models are as follows:

  • Titanium air optical mirror: 2299 Yuan ($315)
  • Gold wire optical mirror: 1899 Yuan ($260)
  • Frameless | Pilot | Square half-frame optical lens: 1699 Yuan ($232)
