Huawei Nova 12 Rear Design Confirmed

The Huawei Nova 12 will retain the design of its predecessor. The camera island is very similar to the Nova 11 devices with a big golden circle around the main camera. However, the smaller cameras’ alignment is different. There is a big LED circle around the main camera module to help with low-light environments. The render also shows the power key protruding, which means this button does not double as a fingerprint scanner. So, we can conclude the phone has an OLED screen with a fingerprint scanner underneath.

The Huawei Nova 12 series will be composed of three new smartphones. One of the most remarkable aspects of the lineup will be the debut of a new 5G chipset. After some years of sticking with only 4G with its mid-range phones, Huawei will finally be able to launch mid-range phones with 5G connectivity. The new smartphone series will also have faster charging, which means anything above the 67W charging offered by the Huawei Nova 11 series. The two phones will also sport cameras at the rear and at the front. The devices should run HarmonyOS in China.

Huawei is yet to disclose the launch date for the new smartphones. However, considering the amount of leaks popping out, this should happen in the coming weeks. The new smartphones will stand as the last releases for Huawei in 2023.
