OnePlus Reveals the Battery Capacity and Charging Features of OnePlus 12

OnePlus will be unrolling the curtains of the OnePlus 12 tomorrow. But ahead of the release, the brand has been sharing key specs of the flagship phone. So far, OnePlus has officially revealed the device’s camera capabilities, display specs, design, USB specs, and water resistance rating of the smartphone.

Now, OnePlus has shared details of the charging features and the battery capacity of the OnePlus 12. And the good news is that wireless charging is making a comeback on OnePlus devices. In addition, the smartphone is about to get one of the biggest batteries that any OnePlus smartphone has come with.

5400mAh Battery, 100W Wired Charging, and 50W Wireless Charging Are Confirmed for OnePlus 12

OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will be getting a 5400mAh battery. It’s the largest battery capacity OnePlus smartphones have come with so far. And with this, it seems like the new flagship device will offer better endurance than the predecessor.

As for the charging speeds, the OnePlus 12 can charge at 100 watts in the wired mode. The great aspect is that it can also charge in wireless mode, which is something that was missing in the entire range of the OnePlus 11. To be precise, it can wirelessly charge at 50 watts, fast enough to get the battery from 0% to 100% quickly.

In other news, the OnePlus 12 mightn’t be the only device the brand will debut this month. A device with the model number CPH2609 was certified at the China Quality Certification Center (CQC). It has also been registered in IMDA, the media and communications regulator of Singapore.

What’s interesting about this device is that it comes with a 50MP, 50MP, and 8MP camera setup on the back. And on the front, the registrations revealed that it comes with a 16MP selfie shooter. To compare, OnePlus 12 features a 48MP, 60MP, and 48MP setup on the back.
