vivo has officially announced the upcoming launch of its highly anticipated S18 series, set to take place in China on December 14th. Following a series of speculations and teasers, the S18 series, comprising the S18 and S18 Pro, is poised to succeed the S17 series.

Leaked images of the phones showcase vibrant green and blue color variants. Capturing attention with a distinctive Aura light situated below the camera module. Jia Jingdong, the Vice President of Branding at vivo, has not only confirmed the launch but also revealed key specifications for the S18 series.

The unveiled design of the phone reveals a sleek punch-hole screen. With a triple-camera setup on the rear, and the prominent inclusion of VCS text. The standard S18 version will boast the impressive power of the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Flaunting a remarkable score surpassing one million points, according to the company.

Meanwhile, the S18 Pro will run the potent MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. Securing an impressive score of nearly 1.6 million. The flagship features a powerful 50MP Sony IMX920 main camera, reminiscent of the X100, accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 12MP 50mm 2X telephoto portrait lens, akin to the X90s.

Front and center, the S18 Pro proudly showcases a 50MP front camera, complemented by dual soft LED lights. Its visual experience is elevated with a 120Hz OLED screen, while a robust 5000mAh battery promises enduring usage. Remarkably, vivo claims that this will be the slimmest 5000mAh mobile phone in 2023.
