On December 22, Chinese manufacturing giant, Honor, officially released its latest tablet, Honor Pad 9. Today, the company has announced that the first official sale of this device is now active. The starting price of this huge 12.1-inch tablet is just 1,499 yuan. This is approximately $212.

Under the hood, this tablet comes with a mid-range chip, Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The body is 6.96 mm thick and it weighs between 555 grams and 559 grams. Furthermore, this device is equipped with eight surround speakers and supports two-way vocal enhancement.
In terms of screen, the Honor Pad 9 Soft Light Edition is equipped with a soft light screen, and the Honor Pad 9 is equipped with an LCD screen. The device also has a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, this device has a 6.9mm narrow bezel, a screen-to-body ratio of 88%, and a brightness of 500 nits.
In addition, the Honor Pad 9 has obtained Rheinland hardware-level low blue light certification/non-reflection certification/no flicker certification. It also passed the display colour temperature adjustment by the National Eye Engineering Center as well as the visual comfort test of the Winning Bidding Institute.
