OnePlus was trying to hide a surprise product from us: its second-generation smartwatch. But the tipster has revealed that the new watch will launch at MWC 2024. A few months ago, its specifications and 5K renderings were leaked. Its launch in India has been confirmed since this smartwatch has already received Indian BIS certification.

The company launched its first smartwatch in 2021. The OnePlus Watch 2 was revealed in leaked renderings in November of last year. On the other hand, OnePlus is already preparing to launch the OnePlus 12 and 12R smartphones, as well as the Buds 3 TWS, in global markets next week. Now, the launch time frame for the Watch 2 has been disclosed by trusted tipster Max Jambor.

The tipster, Max Jambor, claims that the OnePlus Watch 2 will be launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. This year’s MWC will run from February 26 to February 29. Nevertheless, OnePlus has yet to officially announce the existence of its impending smartwatch. As the MWC convention approaches, we should anticipate the brand starting to tease the smartwatch.

The OnePlus Watch 2 is the next generation of the OnePlus Watch. Eventually, the new design language of the next product is shown via the renderings. Its metal chassis gives it a bulky appearance and the right side features a little protrusion that holds actual buttons. The smartwatch will come in two colour options: black and white.

Under the hood, a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 CPU will provide a snappy and fluid experience. Moreover, the wearable device’s configuration can include all general health sensors. Jambor adds that Google’s WearOS will be the operating system for the Watch 2.
