Xiaomi introduced its Xiaomi 14 flagship series last year in China and is finally ready to deploy them across global markets. The Xiaomi 14 and the 14 Ultra are set to be announced globally during the Mobile World Congress 2024. In light of the global launch, Xiaomi India decided to confirm the arrival of the Xiaomi 14 flagship on March 7.

Interestingly, the teaser confirms the launch only of the Xiaomi 14. That means the Xiaomi 14 Pro and Ultra didn’t buy their passport to India. That can change in the future, but for now, the vanilla variant of the Xiaomi 14 will be the only one heading to India. In any case, could you not hold your breath for it? Xiaomi 14 Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi 14 is equipped with a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED flat TCL C8 LTPO panel with an impressive brightness of 3,000 nits. The phone has a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1.61mm narrow bezels, and a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio. The device also has a flat side frame with rounded corners, and sharp edges and has a 71.5mm ultra-narrow body for easy one-hand usage. The Pink variant of the smartphone comes with nano leather material, which soft delicate touch. The other color options have a frosted glass back.

The smartphone comes with an IR Blaster on the back, and the speaker opening this time has been changed to a micro-slit hidden design. The top microphone is hidden in the earpiece area. The Xiaomi 14 also has IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.

In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 14 boasts the almighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and has a circular cold pump cooling system Vapor-liquid separation design. It has a one-way circulation structure that promises 3 times of performance of traditional VC.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi 14 comes with a triple-camera setup. It has a 50 MP 1/1.31″ 1.2um large sensor with f/1.6 aperture. The phone also has a 50 MP ultra-wide camera and a 50 MP 3.2x telephoto camera, all with a Leica Summilux lens.

The Xiaomi 14 draws power from a 4,610 mAh battery with 90W wired charging. The fast-charging tech can top up the battery to 100% in 31 minutes. The phone also has 50W wireless charging for 100% charge in 46 minutes. Finally, it has 10W reverse wireless charging.
