Infinix GT 20 Pro hits Google Play Console and NBTC Certification

Infinix is gearing up to introduce a powerful new smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The device in question was spotted earlier this month during a visit to the Geekbench Benchmark website. The model number is X6871 and reportedly belongs to the Infinix GT 20 Pro. The device was spotted today on two more websites, the NBTC certification and Google Play Console. They confirm the presence of the efficient 4nm chipset from MediaTek.

Infinix GT 20 Pro

The Infinix GT 20 Pro was already certified by the FCC. The device will come with a 5,000 mAh battery and 45W Fast-charging Support. It also passed by TUV which listed a rated battery capacity of 4,900 mAh. That’s a common standard, we expect the typical capacity to be the 5,000 mAh that will likely be used in marketing campaigns. The new appearances on NBTC and Google Play Console reveal extra details. For instance, it confirms the presence of 12 GB of RAM and Android 14 straight out of the box. Moreover, it adds the Full HD+ screen resolution to the list of known specifications.

The new smartphone will also succeed the Infinix GT 10 Pro as a gaming device on a budget. The Dimensity 8200 is not exactly the most powerful chipset out there, but still, it is much better than the typical mid-range processors. We can say it is just one step below what MediaTek offers in the flagship scenarios. The chipset has a 4nm manufacturing but still uses ARMv8 cores. It has a 1 x ARM Cortex-A78 core with 3.1 GHz clock speed. It also has 3 x ARM Cortex-A78 cores at up to 3.0 GHz. For efficiency, the chipset comes with 4 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2.0 GHz. It’s like a flagship chipset from two years ago without any big Cortex-X core. It may not bring the highest score on benchmarks, but in real-world usage will offer great performance for apps and games.

We expect Infinix to share more details about its Infinix GT 20 Pro in the coming days. The GT 10 Pro was a rather interesting smartphone, we are curious to see its successor in all its glory.
