Exynos W1000 Unveiled: Faster, Cooler, and Smarter Wearables Ahead

Just before their big Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10th, Samsung revealed the Exynos W1000 chip. This brand new piece of technology is designed specifically for smartwatches, and it’s a big leap forward from their previous chip, the 5nm W930. Samsung says that apps will launch on the W1000 about three times faster than on the W930. This means you’ll be able to jump into your favorite apps much quicker.

The Exynos W1000 also brings a new feature to smartwatches: a fancy 2.5D always-on display (AOD). This lets watch faces have more depth and show more information, making them look even better. With the Exynos W1000, smartwatches might become even more personal and stylish.
