Samsung is preparing to roll out Android 15 to Galaxy devices later this year, along with the One UI 7.0 update. While Google plans to release Android 15 for the public in October, Samsung is delaying the One UI 7 Beta.

Android 15 Features and RolloutOne UI 7

Android 15 has been in development, starting with a Developer Preview in February and a Public Beta in April. So far, Google has released four major Public Beta updates for Pixel devices, with the final rollout expected in October. This new version focuses on improving performance, power efficiency, security, and privacy. It also optimizes the OS for AI, promising faster app loading and longer battery life.

One UI 7 Beta and Galaxy Devices

Samsung is still working internally on One UI 7.0, which will be based on Android 15. The Galaxy S24 series will be the first to receive the Beta and Stable versions. Other Galaxy devices will follow later this year. Samsung’s Developer Conference on October 3 might provide more information on the Beta release and new features for One UI 7.0. However, the Beta rollout for the S24 series is delayed compared to previous years. Mid-range devices like the Galaxy A55 and A35 may also be eligible for the Beta.

Developer Conference and One UI 7.0

At the October 3 Developer Conference, Samsung is expected to showcase new features for its next big update and possibly updates for One UI Watch and Tizen OS for TVs. Users should be cautious with the Beta version due to potential bugs, and those looking for stability may want to wait for the official Stable release, along with One UI 6.1.1 features.
