Honor Magic 7 Pro Now Supports Android 16 Beta 3 for Developers
In a statement via email to GizChina, Honor said the Magic 7 Pro is one of the first phones, following Google’s Pixel phones, to get this beta version. The purpose is to allow developers to experience new features, performance enhancements, and tools ahead of a stable version.
Android 16 Beta 3 lets developers work with the newest APIs and system features. It allows them to implement the changes needed in their apps and have everything ready to go when Android 16 is released. The stable version of the OS should be available in June 2025.
It’s worth noting that Google Pixel devices are already on Android 16 Beta 4. However, this is the very first Android 16 beta for the Honor Magic 7 Pro. This indicates that Honor is collaborating more with Google.
