Model number MLA-TL00 is another all metal Huawei phone which has just been revealed thanks to TENAA boasting a Snapdragon 652 chipset.
Generally Huawei phones get Huawei (Kirin) chipsets, but not the recently revealed Huawei MLA-T100, which according to TENAA will get a Qualcomm sourced Snapdragon 652 chipset.
The TENAA posting also reveals that the new model will come with a 5.5-inch FHD display, 3GB RAM, 16 mega-pixel rear camera, 8 mega-pixel front and battery of 3270mAh.
It seems likely that the MLA-T100 will also get a 4GB RAM variant and will get storage options including 16, 32 and 64GB and if that’s not enough for your AV collection than an SD card can also be slid in too.
The 7.3mm thick phone will run Huawei EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0, has a rear fingerprint scanner and could go on sale from around 1999 Yuan. Huawei are likely to launch the new device mid-way though this month so watch this space for more news.
lol how does one get to SD652 when TENAA lists 2GHz 8 cores?
It’s clearly not SD652 ,that one goes to 1.8GHz and it’s very likely a Kirin 650.
Why can’t the 652 go to 2ghz? It’s basically the 650 with two more A72 cores.
You might be confused so let me repeat it, this phone is using Kirin 650 not a Snapdragon.
SD652 is not commercialized at 2GHz and if it were, the phone would melt, 1.8GHz is already pushing it with 4 big cores.
Ah ok. Understood.
Grow up. It can reach frequency that quarts crystal used for it can.
GOOD GOD !
how many phones are they releasing all of a sudden !?
someone from Elephone bit their planning dept ?
The fact is that they release some phones for china only, some others internationally, others with honor branding… Still it’s a huge amount of phones, but at least this is not the 5th flagship announced in the last 2 weeks like “someone we know”! ?
It’s unfortunate that they’re sticking with a smaller battery, but hopefully it won’t make too much of a difference.
