Homtom HT16 coming soon

The Homtom made summer phone for the young generation is about to hit the market and they are carefully releasing small doses of information about it. So let’s recap what we know so far and throw in some new stuff.

Homtom HT16 will be available in cold color variants, will have plastic back cover with a delicate texture and unusually placed Homtom logo. The phone will be dual SIM and running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will have full gesture support including the off screen ones. Battery is going to have 3000 mAh capaciy and with the special “battery saving mode” the endurance should be quite alright.

Today we have learned some of most important details and let’s face it, nothing so cheerful. Processor will be only the ultra budget MT6580 clocked at 1,3 GHz, main camera will have unknown 8 Mpix Sony sensor and the front will be sporting 5 Mpix one.

So what’s missing now is only the release date and projected price, but anything over 60 dollars would be way too much.

So, basically another repackaged phone from Doogee/HOMTOM.
Not worth it. Save your money.

Another cheap MTK6580 device, others like Bluboo Maya and UMI Rome x. Among all the MTK6580 device, I prefer Maya better.
