Yepo 737A2

In terms of hardware, the YEPO 737A2 is packed with an Intel Atom x5-Z8350 quad-core chip clocked at 1.44GHz, while its sibling came with an Intel Celeron N3450 quad-core SoC running at 1.1GHz. The main differences between these chips include the higher frequency on the newer version, while the microprocessor has 200% higher memory bandwidth on the N3450. The older variant comes with a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage, while the newer model comes with a 4GB of memory and 128GB of storage. At last, the battery remains the same at an 8000mAh capacity.

So we can state the manufacturer has improved some features such as CPU and storage but sacrificed the memory and the screen technology to keep the price unchanged. Thus if you need a better performance, you can get your hands on the YEPO 737A2. But if you want a larger memory and a viewing experience, there is still the older variant.

Even with the higher clock speed, the celeron out performs an atom chip set. This variant is entirely a downgrade.

True! This is quite a strange ‘update’, indeed. Why didn’t they use the new Gemini Lake N4100?

Yuck, more intel and windows garbage. These chinese companies should release linux OS laptops using smartphone chips from Samsung or mediatek. Xiaomi should make laptops using their pinecone chips running MIUI, Huawei should make laptops running EMUI using their kirin chips. Monopolies like intel and microsoft should be boycotted, make them all bankrupt. I hate patent trolls and monopolies.
