Google Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL “really official” renders surface

I can’t find a better way to start this article other than saying “Another day, another Pixel 3 leak.” The duo of Google smartphones has been leaking a lot lately, lifting some conspiracy theories. Today’s leak comes from the always reliable Roland Quand in the form of high-quality renders of the Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL.

Quandt describe these new HD renders as “really official” and despite the buzz towards it, they can be categorized as “more than same.” The set of pictures reveal the Pixel 3 & 3 XL Black and White color variants in all possible angles.

The pictures, once again, reveals the glorious and massive notch of the Pixel 3 XL. If you still haven’t accepted this fate, you’ll have to deal with a 5.5-inch display of the Pixel 3 that doesn’t sport a notch, but since nothing is perfect it has some “chunky” bezels.

Gizchina News of the week

The Pixel 3 XL will boast a large 6.2-inch display with the taller notch serving as a house to the secondary loudspeaker, as well as the ambient light and proximity sensors. Both the Pixel 3 and 3 XL will feature a dual 8MP camera setup on the front which Google will market as “Super Selfie” mode.

The loved White variant will debut a flashier setup this year, thanks to the Green accent in the buttons, as well as a smoother edge. Talking about this design finish, they look a little more sophisticated in the Pixel 3 than on the Pixel 3 renders.

Under the hood, both handsets will carry the almighty Snapdragon 845, that will come paired with 4GB of RAM and an amount of storage that should range from 64GB to 256GB, but this is yet to be confirmed. The smartphones will ship with Android 9.0 Pie out-the-box and will debut on October 9.

Since we are just two weeks away from the Pixel 3 & 3 XL official unveiling, let’s see if Google still has something “new” to reveal at the official event.
