Oppoās former sub-brand Realme has emerged from its parent company to sell smartphones in the most competent budget segment in India. Since the company got launched it had released 4 successful smartphones which has given a tough competition to the likes of Xiaomi and Honor and now the company is heading towards opening offline stores.
Realmeās CEO Madhav Sheth said that the company has a different approach than Oppo as it has been looking forward to partner with Reliance to take the sales of the company to another level by initiating offline stores, although it wonāt be able to reach that much customers in the beginning.

The offline stores would become very helpful for the company as it will be more beneficial to maintain stocks and manage margins with retailers rather than competing online in the congested segment of market. Moreover, collaborating with Reliance Digital could provide an upper hand on profit margins.
Apart from that, Realme has just now launched the Realme U1 which belongs to the budget segment of smartphones carrying a price tag of Rs 11,999. The device is the first from the company to be powered with MediaTek Helio P70 SoC and is backed with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone boasts a 6.3 inch screen display having a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and comes preloaded with Android 8.1 Oreo. Realme wish to sell U1 at a reasonable price while other companies with similar specs would opt to sell at a slightly higher margin.
